3D Blu-ray players are popping up faster than schnitzel stands at IFA in Berlin, but Sharp’s BD-HP90S is the prettiest we’ve seen yet. It’s thin, glossy and packs tech specs to woo even the most jaded AV buff.
Due on sale in November 2010, the Sharp BD-HP90S squeezes out 3D and 2D Blu-ray pictures, as well as packing in Wi-Fi to grab BD-Live content from the web without wires.
There’s a USB socket up front too, to gobble up media files from external drives and devices, alongside LED indicators to tell you it’s pumping out pictures in glorious 3D, or Aquos “Pure Mode” for enhanced images. It’s the perfect companion to the new Sharp Quattron 3D TV, also unveiled at IFA today.
Will you be grabbing a 3D Blu-ray player before Christmas? The Sharp BD-HP90S will set you back £379.99 when it goes on sale in November.
