The curtains are down, and we’ve got the first shots of Apple’s new flagship store in Covent Garden. We snapped these photos of Apple’s retail team receiving their first look around the gorgeous new iEmporium, receiving a welcome talk complete with whooping and hugging all round.
Tomorrow we’ll be the first press to set foot inside the store, as Apple gives us a sneak peek before it opens to the public on Saturday. Stay tuned for more info, and in the meantime check out these photos of Apple’s newest outpost in Central London.
Spread over two floors, the Apple Store Covent Garden features beautifully restored masonry, with stone arches inside and out. It’s a masterful blend of old and new, which suits the environs of Covent Garden perfectly.
Inside, it looks set to live up to expectations as the UK’s largest Apple Store, and we’re especially taken with the tasteful cut-out Apple logos above the door. Look carefully, and you’ll see Apple staff inside receiving their Apple Store Covent Garden induction, complete with welcome Keynote presentation and a few emotional moments.
