UPDATE: The Asus Eee PC 1008HA just got priced for the UK. Find out how much!
The Asus Eee PC 1008HA has just been put on show at CeBIT, and the redesigned number isn’t just another Eee PC 1000 model – it’s the super-thin Eee PC Shell netbook we were promised last week! Details after the jump!
After the seriously left field Dual Panel concept we saw yesterday, Asus came to CeBIT in Germany today with something we’ll actually be able to get our hands on: the new, ultra-slim Eee PC 1008HA.
Formerly known as the Eee PC Shell, the Eee PC 1008HA is a redesigned Eee netbook that resembles an MSI model more than anything else.
The 10 inch Eee PC 1008HA is just one inch thick, with a glossy screen and a lid that drops down behind the case to keep things small and slimline, and the whole thing weighs in at just 1.1kg.
The Asus Eee PC 1008HA will also have the option for WiMAX or 3.5G net connectivity, and while there’s no date or price yet, when it ships, the Eee PC 1008HA looks to be the most innovative Eee since the T91. Stay tuned for plenty more news from CeBIT to come.
