LittleBigPlanet coming to the PSP

It seems Media Molecule has been reading our most wanted PSP games feature. Its co-founder just let slip plans to bring LittleBigPlanet to the PSP. Hooray!

Back in August we told you how great it’d be to build LBP levels on the train to take home and finish off. And it looks like Media Molecule’s main man Mark Healy has been listening.

“There’s definitely scope for a PSP version,” Healy told Eurogamer TV. “We’ve had discussions and talks, [but] nothing concrete at the moment.”He said before giving us some hope.

“It’d be great to make, for the people who are really into the Create side, some kind of companion products that allow you to create things while you’re on the train.”

It gets better. Excitingly he also mentioned being able “to create you’re own music”. News of a PSP version hasn’t come entirely out of the blue though.

Earlier this week a job ad for a PSP Game Engine Lead appeared on the web looking for someone to “work on the development of exciting new LittleBigPlanet projects.”

It looks like our wishes are coming true. Train journeys will never be the same again.
